1997 Accord with window switch wiring problems
Hi,
I have a 1997 Honda Accord and I am experiencing some mysterious issues with the rear driver side window switch and the master switch. The window motor operates normally when isolated and run off a 12 volt battery. With the switches in place, the window will only roll down with the rear switch. There is 12 volts coming into the wiring carriage for the motor when the rear window switch is activated, but no power when the up position is engaged on the rear switch. There is no power coming from the master switch up front in either an up or down position.
In my limited experience I think I have a wiring problem, but I would love to be enlightened. Any help and or wiring diagrams would be greatly appreciated!!

Inspect the wires going through the door jam and where they "plug" into the rear door. You would not be the first one to have an issue in that area that is causing the window problem.
Yea, I know this scanned in upside down....best I got for the 4 door in this gen.
