97 Accord LX 2.2L 4spd AT, Toyo rad w/ 1.1 cap?
OK, I've got said animal above (with 290k miles on the clock) that was built in Japan (J starts the VIN) and said radiator neck is basically broken off. So, now I'm trying to figure out which aftermarket radiator I'm supposed to get. I even stumped the local Honda parts guy when I called him to inquire. He said, from his info he looked up, that he believed either type radiator would work.
I'm quite sure the previous owner, who had it for about 150k, told me he had someone replace the radiator and the thermostat at one time. Best I can tell, the radiator has a stamp on top that says Toyo Radiator Made in Japan and a number 32607 279. There might be an A at the end, and I'm not sure about that first '7' even being there or if it's coolant that dried to look like a 7. The first digits are stacked on top of the 279.
Internet search doesn't turn up much, but Majestic Honda's site says I should have a 19010-P0A-902 (Toyo) yet below that shows a 19045-PT0-004 Cap (Toyo) which after a search indicates it's a 0.9 cap whereas I have a 1.1 on my Toyo. BTW, the Honda stamp on mine says PA66+PA612-g, but the Honda parts guy said that doesn't mean anything to him.
I humbly ask for any help from anyone who has insight. thank you. need car back running.

Any auto parts store should have a direct replacement that is just as good as the OEM but a whole lot cheaper. As Scotty Kilmer, famous YouTube mechanic says, it is fine to buy chinese aftermarket radiators. They're cheap and they work just as well. See Scotty Kilmer's YouTube channel "How to replace a radiator in your car"
But, the question is: will the Denso one work...Will the bolt pattern fit the fans, will the transmission line ports be in the same place as the one I'm replacing?
OK, what the heck... I ordered the Denso from Rockauto. If it's wrong for my car, I'll just send it back. No need for the google search, I've bought so much from them lately, they sent me my own coupon code.
BTW, you guys mentioned 2 things I'm a huge fan of... Kilmer and Rockauto. Later.

Might want to give us some dimensions on your current radiator.
I would not be surprised if a past owner/mechanic replaced the radiator with one from a different model such as a Civic or Integra.
I have no idea what region you are in, a '97 Accord could be one of a half dozen models throughout the world. After '92, 'Accord' is not the same car in the various regions.
