Default Vss sensor install in 90 crx si

I got my sir cluster wired in and working fine. Now just need to wire vss in.. I got the 97 manual vss because it fits better than the 92-95 car trans is a d16 at the moment l my question is can I run the 3 wires to the back of the cluster I know one is ground signal and power for the signal I was thinking about running it off the vss wire that is not used the ground to any ground. And the power to a power wire. Any suggestions ?

I can't make sense of what you have and need. Are you using an obd0 cluster? Or obd1? If 0 you need to run the cable from trans to cluster and get vss signal there. If you are using an obd1 cluster and you will probably do best consulting a wiring diagram to emulate stock wiring as best possible.
