Default Valve Spring for CTR cams in a B16

Are CTR valve springs the best for CTR cams in a B16A2 if I want to be able to rev to 8500. I have been told that the stock B16A2 intake springs are the same as the CTR exhaust springs anyone know if this is true. I already have SS valves and I will also be using Ti retainers. Also need CTR intake valve spring part #s inner and outer if anyone has them.

Thanks

If you've spent that much money on valves and retainers, why don't you go the extra step and gt some good springs.. Crower, JUN, Portflow would all be better than stock CTR.

If you ever decide to get some better cams, you'll be bitter that you have to go in there again and take them out.

word to the unwise...

if you run TOO stiff of a spring you will lose power.

you'd probably be ok running the stock valvetrain but if i were you id go with an easily accessible and not too expensive itr valvetrain.

Do yall think Skunk2 valve springs are too stiff for Crower stage 1's? The stage 1's are suposedly CTR+, i think they have a lil longer duration.

Stock valvatrain should be fine as long as you keep the same redline and rev limiter

if there is a small difference in the cams im sure it wont hurt but from my experience it isnt a good idea to run jun springs with ctr cams.

Why don't you get Skunk2 stage 1s instead of those Crowers? For a little more cash you'll have a lot more power, especially on a b16.

I want to go with the CTR springs because there made for the CTR cams, the SS valve I have are just a hair lighter than CTR valves, but don't know if there is anthing better but not with stronger spring rates. As for the cams the motor is Vortech supercharged and there isn't a cam out there I've seen that out performs the Honda cams across the board, there are cams that make more top end but loose to much bottom end and midrange this is a daily driver. Does any one have the CTR springs part #s or know where I can get the springs
