LOL, someone making them on their own? Im scared to ask how much they want - even from the picture I can point out all the problems (not to mention the fiberglass is thin as hell in the pic... you touch it - it would break)
I dont know the quality of these but I can tell you that this is by no means finished. The guy who is testing these is making one for his car. I beleive he wanted $500 for them but Im not sure. He still hasn't even finished one.

**** if it hasnt even been tested... hell make your own. Would cost yah a whole $200 and a good solid week if you wanted to do it up.
I hope he doesnt think he can just build layer upon layer OVER his car and its going to fit

Whats with all the plastic wrap though? You could have just waxed the front end up with 6 or 7 coats of mold release wax and then taped all the body seams off with clear packing tape. Remove the headlights/corners, mask over the grill, and glass the whole front end. You'll end up with a mold surface that's as glossy as the car's paint is, and requires only minimal finish work to make a perfect mold........
Oh yeah, molding in a parting flange along the top bumper line would save a ton of time and hassle too, because the mold and the parts made in the mold would release much much easier....

Here's what a real mold looks like, no saran wrap necessary.... it's for the carbon hood i made for my buddy's EG8... The orange is gelcoat, not paint... I'd like to do a one peice front end, I think I'll do that this spring when the weather gets nice. I'll show everyone pics...

It's not hard, it just needs to be a bigger version of something like the hood mold I posted above.. It's all about attention to detail...
my pic does work, right? It looks fine here but someone said it didn't work for them...

I never said it was hard to do it...But, when your'e solo then you have quite a task ahead of you...I know that to do it the best way possible you must have a foreman and at least one assistant...Access to the proper parts and room to do it in is another roadblock in any task like this...Lets see what he runs...I hope he's not gonna just wear that front without wrapping it around something that breaks 10's...If you need someone to promote your product, Look me up...

I'm thinking about a carbon front end for my buddy's EG, backed with kevlar and fiberglass for impact resistance. It's not nice to leave your front end in peices on the track if anything happens; the kevlar holds all the broken bits together..
