Looking to do a JDM B18C5 swap in my 98 ek hatch. Yes I searched, still have some questions.
So far this is what I understand I need:
Engine, well obviously
B Series Trans
B18C5 ECU
Integra Type R Shift Linkage (Included with my motor) (Its my understanding that all B series would work, is this true?)
Integra Type R Axles (Its my understanding that all B series would work, is this true?) (My motor includes Type R axles)
Correct cast iron 2 post driver's side upper mount bracket (See question below)
Si Rear Transmission Bracket (Would the Rear Transmission Bracket from a JDM Type R work? The motor I'm looking at includes one.

Wiring:
As far as the engine harness goes, is it just adapting the EK's D series harness to the B18? Adding VTEC and such?
The JDM motor is OBDII and so is the EK, so I'm staying OBDII.

ECU:
Does it need to be a USDM ECU? Do I run an OBDIIa, OBDIIb or OBDI USDM ECU I've read it needs to be USDM, my motor includes a JDM ECU, could I use it?

Mounts:
I understand I need the right, 2 post, driver's side upper engine mount bracket but the picture of my JDM B18C shows a different style mount then the EK uses, I know I won't use that mount but what about the bracket? Would the stock EK driver's side upper mount bolt on to the bracket that my motor already has? (See pictures)
