I have a h2d swap in my ef and I used a d series clutch, the flywheel in bisi's kit is a custom one that allows you to use a stock like clutch for what ever transmission you have, I know the 88 and the 89+ clucches have different splines just use the clutch that fits the transmission. so I don't know what your trying to ask

Sorry about that but your answer to my question was pointless. You should have just posted what you said in the above post and not you first post. Thats that I was trying to ask. I have two transmissions an 88 dx and a 90 si and I wanted to make sure that there wasn't two different flywheels with the cable kits. There wasn't any info on bisi's store website.

oh ok ya all d series flywheels should be the same, all of bisi are they are based off a si flywheel if there are any difference with stock ones, just some advice use the si and if you have enough get a lsd it will be worth it.

Yeah, I am planning on using the SI tranny. Do you remeber if you have to grind a lot off the black of the block for the axles? I know on the H2B I had to grind on the outer driverside edge of the back of the block but I am not sure about the F2D.

Re: Bisimoto F2D fly wheel question
you have to cut out quite a bit of the block theres just no way you can get around it, you could get a zc trans and use the halfshaft for it but you would have to make a bracket for it. I did it and have not had a problem with it

Sorry for replying an old thread.
It's not clear for me! Still have to grind the block with ZC axles and midshaft or not? Could you please post up some pictures of your setup?
