Verify that the brake pedal is not dropping or the pushrod is not over adjusting and not allowing the MC to fully release.

System in these cars is diagonally split(not front/rear) it would be highly unlikely that divorced parts of the system would fail concurrently.

Verify the MC is in proper working order and recheck any work that has been recently done to the car.

I have a question. before all this trouble, I tried to get the car inspected the car was fine. the car failed inspector said I don't have no brake lights I need a brake switch. I took the car home notice that the brake light now stay on. i got down to the pedal and notice that there's a little plastic piece that makes contact with the switch was missing. it looks like it goes on the pedal and makes contact with the pin on the switch that makes the brake lights comes on and off with the pedal. so i got desperate and put a screw in its place. could it be that this screw is too thick and not allowing my pedal to work properly? if so what is that little piece called where can i get one. its a little piece look like it just push in the hole on the pedal.

If your brake pedal is missing the pad then that is your problem.
The part is called a 'pad, pedal stopper'
Cost is ~$3 from the dealer.

Dorman part 74015. I went through the same thing as you with a customers car. Brakes kept smoking and found a screw by the brake switch.
