2000 Accord f22 swap
Hey everyone,
This is my first post on honda-tec forums, so I'll try to keep it simple for you guys. I just bought a 2000 accord Ex v4 with the check engine light on. The man who sold it to me said that he took it to his local auto parts store and had it scanned. The error codes were p0135 (o2 sensor bank1) and p0325 (knock sensor). I test drove the car, and it ran great. After I bought it, I re-scanned the error codes myself, bough botht of the sensors and took the intake manifold out to replace the knock sensor. I found the connector loose, and no place where the sensor would screw in. I then saw the engine code and it said F22B2 meaning that the engine is from 1994-1997 accord
I'm no expert in this field, but this means that this accord has an f22 swap with the f23 wiring harness right? Is there something I can do to place/screw in the knock sensor into the block? I really don't want to just plug in the sensor and leave it hanging in the engine bay (which is what I was planning to do before posting this threat lol)
Thanks in advance!
