hey guys, just purchased set of new 185/65 tires for my ej6 sedan, since old ones started cracking. Was looking for a set of stock rims and found this, 2003-2005 Civic rims for a good price, not perfect condition, but simple touch ups or polishing should help to make them look nice. Will the fit my 2000 EJ6? Will they fit without any issues or extra hardware (hub rings etc)?
Or should I get set from americas tire, mb wheels? They are 14x6 ET38 17lb each? Probably stock ones won't be any lighter... and price difference is only $50.... but damn, I like OEM style more.... Please, advice
And yes, I should've get 15s at least, but for now 14s are perfect. Maybe next year.
yeah, the oe wheels fit. the mb wheels are of a poor casting quality, and bend very easily.
do you know by any chance how much OEMs weight? I heard they were made for Hybrid and they weight just under 10lb, is that true?
Also, if I buy OEMs, can I reuse my stock bolts? my currents are stock 14 steelies
yes your lug nuts will work. there are MUCH better oem honda/acura options. if you want lightweight, look towards 96-00 civic hx wheels. the hybrid wheels you're looking at weigh around 15lbs, hx are 12.
