Default what do you guys think of this?

i found a yellow 1990 si, mint condition with only a few engine mods, with 121,000 miles on it for $7000. it sounds like a lot but im thinking i can maybe i can sell some of the stuff it comes with and be left with a flawless shell that i can work from. should i go for it or should i look around for one that is already stock.

$7000 dollars what the hell kind of few mods does he have??!! I think that price is waaay outrageous I dont see selling some mods and getting your some of your money back? maybe if it was a 90 Si with like 21 miles.

the car is Barbado yellow and it has 5 spoke gsr rims on new kumho tires, new axles, pioneer with speakers, new H&R OE sport springs on new Bilstein HD shocks, neuspeed short shifter, nuespeed strut bar, Lightspeed headers, trust exhaust, new momo wheel, momo shift ****, and neuspeed race springs are given with the purchase. im thinking itll be fun to drive for awhile and then when im ready to swap motors and build up i can sell all the stuff it comes with. does that sound practical or am i way off track?

Way overpriced I have seen crxs with less miles selling for less than that. Even though it does have some new parts and mods it is still an outrageously high price.

same here. I'd only pay $7000 for a crx that has a B18c or B18c5, bodykit w/ nice paint job all boltons has to be in mint condtion.

I don't care what is in the car you are looking at. Anyone who has ever sold a car knows you don't get what you put into it. A sad fact but very true. with 7000 you could buy a really good looking hatch/crx and still have like 4500-5000 to drop into it. It seems a little steep to me

Agreed. I bought my old CRX for 2 grand and it looked fine and had 84K on it. It was an HF though. For what you listed I would take into consideration if the car will pass inspection or not. Lowering springs and exhaust doesnt pass in most places. Either way I would pay no more than 4K for that car. My roommate bought his 91 DX w/ ZC swap, AEM CAI, clutchmasters clutch, 17" wheels, coilovers and generic exhaust for 2800 bucks. The car was in near perfect condition. There was only one spot on the paint that was messed up and the interior was great.

I just picked up a 91 Civic DX, with no rust, just painted for $500. THie catch is the engine has a hole the size of your fist in the block.

dude really. 3000 is all i'd pay for that.
for $7000US on a CRX you'd be getting my CRX

a 89 Si w/ b16 @30k miles & perfect. hasport mounts, mugen kit, silver paint, matching interior tastefully done silver and black revinyl'd not painted.
JDM folding power mirrors, power windows, rear discs, AutoPage alarm system (pager, sweet), jimfab front crossmember, $1000 SSR Rims matching the car.
And if you really wanted to bargain i might leave the stereo system in there.
7000's all i could ever expect to get for that. And in canada no less. in california i'd be lucky to sell it for 6k
so anyway i'm in seattle who wants it 7000 hehe I'm thinkin about it, someone stop me.

I just payed 500 for an Si from Fl... no rust, 141k on the chassis, a rebuilt motor with 70K in it. The girl I got it from bought a CRV and didn't really care about getting much for the car.

its a little rough, she did back into a fire hydrant, the exhaust fell of in two weeks, and it needs a CV, but pretty nice other than that
