So my passenger side is clicking again, the ball joint nut lost its threads (literally) and the lower ball joint popped out of the control arm. Luckily I was in a parking lot and the wheel folded in. The axle doesn't appear to be damaged, but the boot and clamp got squished. We replaced the nut and got the wheel back on but couldn't get a clamp on the boot. We got a hose clamp on it tightly but it was rubbing the control arm, so we ditched the clamps and zip tied the boot on. The car drives fine but I hear a clicking at high speed. Doesn't appear to be consistent with anything. Any ideas what it is, or a way to figure it out?
