antenna problem

Default antenna problem

when i shut off my car somtimes the antenna goes down like its suppose to, and half of the time the antenna stays up.

any of u guys know how to fix this?

Your aerial is probably slightly bent and also dry.

Clean with a rag and lots of wd40 and when the aerial is fully extended gently pull the top of the aerial in the opposite direction its bent in to straighten it a little.

Mine is like it, I have to clean and lubricate it every 3 weeks. Loads of us have this problem in the UK.

same, but i wonder how it would look on a yellow R? i've only seen it on a black one and it looked goood.

lube it up... and if not that... something might be wrong with your antenna mast.... or do what the others have done... S2K antenna....

You can sell the stock antenna + mast for ~45 or so and save a few lbs from the ***!
