I have a 1996 Honda Civic hatchback with the d16y7 and am having problems getting it to go into gear with the car running. If the car isn't running goes into all the gears just fine. I have already replaced the master and slave cylinders. Still having the issue. Please help!!!!!!

 

Clutch pedal feel soft or spongy?

 

possible Throw out bearing or the clutch is toast.

 

No not soft or spongy. Bled the entire clutch system twice just to make sure there was no air in it at all.

Thinking about just going ahead and ordering a clutch kit. Was told earlier it could be the pressure plate.

 

When depress the clutch pedal, does the slave cylinder move the clutch fork?

 

Yes the slave cylinder does move the clutch fork.

 

Time to drop transmission and inspect the clutch.

 

That's what I was thinking my next move would be. Will update when I am able to drop it.
