Hey guys, new to the forum
My 94 accord came with 20" rims and 225/30. the tires were way too thin for this bumpy and full of pot holes city streets=damaged rims and tires. I changed the tire size to 225/35 & still time to time I have to repair tire & rim. I don't want to change the car looks with smaller rims. I saw some videos of cars like the one I have with 22" & 26" rims. I wonder how they did it suspension wise my 20" and 225/35 doesn't give me room to use a 225/40 or 225/45 to prevent damage specially rear tires. The knuckle shape & upper control arm put the join on top of the tire which doesn't allow the use of 225/45. Is there a kit that is used to removed the knuckle & upper control arm? Or how can you put 22" or even worse 26" rims (which is not what I want) I like my car with the 20". I am thinking of using another car's knuckle assembly but not sure which would be the one to best fit. If some one has a clue or has done something like this or has an idea please share it.
