I have a 1993 Honda Accord Ex 4dr and its my first project,I want to build it up but kinda stuck on where to start. If y'all have any input I'd appreciate it.

 

Basic maintenance is always a good place to start.

Brakes, suspension, engine tune up and fix any leaks.

A compression test on the engine to determine it's health wouldn't hurt.

What are your plans for the "Build" race, power, reliability, fuel economy?

What is your budget?

 

I appreciate that man,my budget is unknown lol I work part time and go to school, so my pay checks Go into the car. I know I can't do everything right away but I'd like to build a plan for what I am going to do first all the way through the end.

What are your end goals? I understand all too well about long term builds ..... So I assume that you are talking about building it in stages.

So Are you looking to go forced induction (boost/turbo) or keeping it Naturally Aspirated (All Motor)? That really depends on what the actual goal is for your chassis. Daily driver, weekend track car or dedicated track car? If it is a daily driver, low ans slow or street strip. It a dedicated track car, drag or circuit?


There are a lot of things you can look into before you start your build. Having a long term plan is an great way to save money. Hard part is keeping focus on your goals! Set them and try to stick to them!

 

Yes I want to daily drive it,I am looking to lower it stance it out and put some small upgrades to the motors to where I do have that get up but nothing too extreme yet
