Default Civic EG e-brake question.

The parking brake is bolted on to the chassis by 3 bolts right? Is it possible to put a spacer there to raise the parking brake up about 2 inches? Will it affect anything?

Yes, you can add spacers/brackets in there to raise height and adjust fwd/bkwd. You won't have a problem if the change is within the adjustment distance the cables/cable tensioner can handle, BUT, too much of a change in distance and you will need to source longer cables. That being said, a slight change in angle of the cables at their entry point into the cabin will not affect them negatively. You might have to forgo spec in the adjustment of your brake cables, and they will be tighter at a lower handle pull position.
