I'm building my del Sol to hopefully run 10's and still drive it on weekends for some fun runs. I was curious if anyone in here has a 11sec or faster b series del Sol. Didn't find to much on Google.

 

That's super specific to ask, but hopefully I'll get mine started soon.

I was just curious. I just don't see alot of fast del Sols. Mine should be tuned in a month or two. Few more things to get it ready

 

This things are harder to find and also really heavy, that's why you don't see too many.

What's the setup?

 

B16
Fuel setup is
10g cell
Magnafuel 750 series pump
-6 , -8 e85 lines
Inline filters
Aem fuel rail, FPR and ID 2000's

Induction setup
Triple BB full billet 72mm comp turbo
Black works twin scroll front facing manifold
Twin tial 38 WG
Tial 50 Q BOV

Management will be AEM v2 and AEM coil packs

 

So its still a 1.6 and is it sleeved?

That's a nice turbo, I'm using an OLD Borg warner s366.

 

Well the engine is just to get everything mocked up and right, I have a stroker build that will go in before October but in the mean while I'm going to push for 450-500 on stock internals, once the engine is complete and its dropped in then 750ish. My built block is sleeved and is built for my end goals. But I had this b16 complete running swap and I figured what the hell, I'll push it to the limit

 

Lol I want to see how the b16 does. You have any pics of the intercooler mounted?

 

Half *** pics but it was just to see how it looks. Within 2 weeks or so I'll have the full piping welded up and my downpipe done so I'll post pics then. Luckily it should all clear the bumper I hope

 

I have always been a fan of the del sol. Those look like they will be fast. I have that same Blackworks turbo manifold. Currently collecting dust though..

 

Portentio78 was in the 9's in his Del Sol. Parted it out a while back though.
