1994 Accord no start, please help
My car is a 94 Accord EX sedan 5 speed and my engine had a pretty bad knocking noise. So what I did was I bought a running 1994 Accord EX coupe auto to get the engine to swap in to my car. The donor ran fine and started right up. I drove it myself and it felt like a healthy engine. The previous owner said the car had been sitting for a few years but that he would fire it up and drive it down his neighborhood street every once in a while. He told me he had the head rebuilt 30k before he got in an accident in it. “Said” that the timing belt and water pump had been replaced as well. Before I bought it I checked all of the fluids were in good condition. Anyways, a few days later the motor is in my car and it won’t start. I never removed the distributor and I see that it has spark at the coil. Like I literally see the spark. I have not checked for fuel pressure which I will be figuring out how to do. Could the timing belt skipped/jumped out of timing in some way? I have attempted to start it many times while I did adjustments to the cables, cap, rotor, plugs, etc so I was worried it could have jumped out of time by now. Could it have happened as I was bolting on the flywheel? It sounds like it wants to start but it doesn’t turn over. I checked my ECU as well, which is fine.
