I just purchased a used 1999 CRV today and it drove fine home but now the alarm won't turn off. I finally disconnected the battery to get the darn thing to shut up, but when I reconnect the battery it just keeps honking. Their are two different remotes and unfortunatly the owner's manual was not included. Does anyone have any idea as to which remote I should be using, and how do I get the darn alarm to turn off? Obviously I have tried everything, I can unlock the doors with the remote but for some reason the light keeps flashing 3 quicks flashes, then pauses and does it again. Any information would be useful. Thanks!

 

Try sticking the key in the driver's door and turn it clockwise or counterclockwise to reset the alarm.
