2011 crv SE gas door
Hi everyone.
I filled the gas tank and got a car wash from the automated car washer in the gas station right away. When I arrived at home I found the gas door (outside) is open but the cap is on. Also when I was driving home, I didn't see the notification on the panel saying gas door is open.
I am aware of the terrible outcome of water going into the gas tank so I want to ask everyone here if I am on the safe side here (gas door open but cap on)? Will it be any problem and how can I tell if water has gotten into the tank?
