Check It Out All!! Im Back After Only 5 Months Of Basic Training And Tech School!
Finally!! I can resume my life behind a computer screen........ 6 weeks at Lackland AFB, 14 weeks at Sheppard AFB, and now 4 weeks at home on leave. Everyone in the Phoenix area, be looking for me, I arrive around December 1st

Welcome back man! I joined the USAF too and leave for BMT on February 25 and I'm going to tech school at Keesler AFB. How was BMT? I've heard for the Air Force it's easy as hell. man!!

The physical part was nothing, however, i had a sadistic TI who spent way too much time watching Full Metal Jacket, just pray you dont go to the 331st TRS, you'll know what it is when you get there

I used to be on the Air Force. Did my 4 years as Security Forces......Military Police, for those who don't know. I was stationed at Hickam AFB, Hi. It was great. Well, being in Hawaii was great, but the job really sucked at times. Over all though, being in the Air Force wasn't bad at all.

I have the utmost respect for the Marine Corps, however, ya'll's basic is more than twice as long as ours is. Marines show so much more discipline than the people in the Air Force. Thats one thing I really hate about it, everyone wants to screw around in line. It seemed to me at points like I was the only one not talking in formation.

I will be signing up for the DEP in April with the Air Force. I can't wait. The reason I am going to do DEP is to reserve my position after Basic. I want to go into Security Forces. I certainly will use the college benifit indeed. After college apply for OTS and try to become a Criminal Investigations Officer. Go 15 year plan, then go FBI. That is, if all things work out as planned. I have several options after the Air Force. I am looking forward to it greatly.
P.S. : I have so much respect for Marines. I saw some stuff on Discovery channel about them and you all go to hell. Our country is proud to have men and women like you. Thanks.

i joined the air guard. i will be in lacklund by the end of the month. i am going into mp because the tech is only like 6 weeks. i hope i dont die.
