Default 1995 EX- Automatic dead, need help!

Some of you may have seen my thread of my Black 1995 CD5 EX which I was customizing..

All done with the suspension and motor etc, and changed all oils including Automatic fluids with original Honda oil, I take her for her first test drive.

The car sounds great and all is good.. go to buy present for my son..
He really wants the Hot Wheels remote control car but I can`t find it..
All shops sold them out...after four hours of searching and 100+km of driving I found one. YAY!

On my way back I hit traffic...****.. stuck on a bridge with no where to go I suddenly notice the temperature rising... **** **** ****..

Traffic goes again temperature very high.. I get the brilliant idea to turn the motor off while coasting down so that the engine can cool more..

I get even more smarter and think it might be a good idea to put it in Neutral..slip passed neutral in Reverse and BOOOOM!!!! (+- 100km/h - 60/Mp/h)

Auto trans officialy dead.......

I need to get the parts (inner parts or the tranny) to fix my precious again.... BUT I live in Brasil

Can anybody help me with the right inner parts or tranny and is willing to ship to Brasil ?!?

Desperate as there are nearly non here....
The only one I found they are asking a 1200 USD (4500 Real) for which they took from a wrecked car and it may or may not work lol..
in Brasil 1200 USD is a gazilion (2 months salary)

Help please I love my CD and have loved them ever since I bought my first 14 years ago..

Are there any Japanese importers in your region?
Pickup a low mileage used trans for a few bucks?
I've used a local importer on three transmissions and all have been fine.
A lot cheaper than rebuilding. Most places wanted 2500-3200 to rebuild the trans in my Accord, I just replaced it with a low-mileage unit ~$450 and it has been fine.

Heya Mike.

There is no such thing as a JDM importer here in Brasil.

Two reasons ..JDM does not really exist here although Honda is now finaly selling cars directly in Brasil.

The other.. sickening tax close to a 100% tax on shipping and item value combined.. yup..

The other reason nearly nothing is available is because it is illegal to import second hand or non new vehicles to Brasil...
new ones get taxed with a 110% tax btw...
Hence the reason the Accords are very very rare here...

Have you gone to Majestic Honda site to look up parts?
Majestic Honda - The Internet's #1 Honda Automotive Parts Store
In the US F22B1 is an 'EX' submodel.

Your trans is called 'H4A' and was used in F22 Odyssey 95-97 vans, 92-96 Preludes, and 90-97 Accords. Gear ratios vary per model/sub model, but each trans will bolt in and work in other models.
