Default JDM front conversion advice

I'm doing the T Bar method and have my original support out and the JDM one ready to install. I did a dry fit with some bolts holding the JDM T bar on and I'm not sure if I cut enough (or too much) metal to have the support sit properly. Also, the ends of the support don't sit flush down on the frame of the body.

I followed the method found in this Super Street article:
JDM Front Installation - Project DC2 Integra - Modified Magazine

In the pictures, the JDM support is bolted in and the ends of the support sit naturally in those positions. You can see the original Sharpie lines of where the USDM support rested. Any advice?

If you can put body parts on, and everything lines up well, I would say it's good.
