I've been working on a 98 civic cx auto originally had a d16y7 started converting over to a manual b18b1 everything is done I bought a manual obd2a harness from a guy on Craigs so I plug everything in and come to the drivers side shock tower (c136) and notice the engine harness only has one plug while the car has 2 plugs so my question is... What do I do about this? What is the second plug for? Do I go back to the auto engine harness and convert it to manual?



Also would I be able to use one of these eg/dc block off plugs?

 

Posting to remind myself to re-open this thread when I get home and can look under my hood to compare for you. Unless someone beats me to it.

Whats up! I come from the future. I'm in the same boat, my car has 2 plugs on the strut tower as well but the ones I'm finding online have one plug. Is the other plug really bot needed?
