Default Rebuilt Automatic transmission

Has anyone ever heard of a company called Howards Transmissions in the Los Angeles area. I need some advise on where to get a used or rebuilt transmission for my 98 Honda Accord 4 cylinder.

Any help would be appreciated.

The 1st to second shift is getting sloppy. Any suggestions. Is there any fixes without tearing into the trans?

Regards,
Craig

I think there might have been a silent recall on your tranny, try searching. May save you some $$$$

I have an auto 98 also....how do I find out if there is a silent recall.

Does that mean they will change the tranny to a new one even if it is not yet broken?

I have been having some problems...not major though with my tranny....
