Default 92 Civic B18C1 starts but only stays running w/ pressure from key. Please Help

As the title says, I have a 92 Civic with a b18c1. the problem first popped up yesterday when the car suddenly died while on the highway then came back to life about a second later. other than that incident, it had been running perfectly fine.

Today on the way home it died on the highway and I was able to start it back up but it kept dying until i kept the key turned almost all the way forward, this currently allows the car to stay on but as soon as i relieve the key of pressure, the car dies.

The car has boltons with a p28 running hondata s300.

Any ideas??? Thank you in advance.
