Default Question about clutch safety switch?(Dont really know the name)

Hi guys, I cant start my car today, I have a 95 ex civic. When I press the clutch, nothing happens. And I found lots of broken pieces of plastic on the ground. I believe the "safety switch" is broken.

Can anyone tell me what that name would be? and where is it located?

Anything would help.
Thanks

Please post the required car information. See forum Rules sticky.

The rubber stopper that presses on the starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal broke and fell out. Sometimes there is an extra rubber stopper below the upper one on the clutch pedal even if you don't have cruise control.
