What are some of the best mods and upgrades for the 1986 crx si? I have a cold air intake on and I am getting a magnaflow muffler welded on tomorrow. Looking for a header if anyone has one? Are there any other easier mods i can do to increase hp, torque, or gas mileage? I do have the stock ew4 motor in.

Check out redpepperracing for all mods or upgrades. Basic header, intake and exhaust will do wonders for the little 1.5L.

There are actually still a lot of parts available, these generations are starting to be more popular again.

 

Not engine, but a lower final drive ratio does wonders, and a mugen lsd would be great. They are in stock right now at king motorsports, but their website is down right now. And like NW Classic Honda said, there is plenty of information at redpepperracing.com if you don't mind searching. The forum is pretty much a graveyard, but the facebook group is pretty active still.

 

Oh, and integra brake calipers and disks from the same year are a bolt on part, I believe, and they fit under 13 inch wheels for autocross tires / slicks.
