Default M&H 205/60-13 DOT good for weekend drag car?

I've done a search and couldn't really find too much info except for the thread with the 500whp VW cracking 10's with them...

I was wondering if anyone else has experience with the 205/60-13 M&H DOT? How do they compare to the several different 225/50-15 drag radials out there? I was running their 235/60-15 and love the traction and longevity but am not a fan of such a large tire and would like to try something more "stock" size. Car will have boost by gear and I'm taking it in for an alignment/corner balancing soon. Car will be turned down to 500-550whp in 4th. Basically looking for a tire that I can leave on for fair-weather car shows or take to the strip and not change tires (car is a weekend car only).

the 205/60-13s are a bias ply...not a radial. They're the same compound as the 235/60-15 DOTs. They hook incredibly, but they're too tall for my liking.

So you cruise around on 13 inch rims?

any more people who have run them?

I'm wondering whether to go with a 13x5.5" steel wheel or a 13x7.5 lenso. I've seen them on both.

i had them on weld 13x8 wheels, never took them to the track but the street they were awesome. i bought them from summit racing if i remember they are about 23" tall. Now i wasn't making near the power that you plan on making but they did well on the street. Only other ones ive tried was a set of BFG 225/50/15s but they were terrible all around.
