Default 195/60R15 tires, that don't suck...

My old Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position(400 AA A) are on their final rotation.

It appears this size is no longer being made, thanks O-Bridgestone.
They were quiet, gripped very well, and have lasted me... ******* forever, think they were '40Kmile' tires and have last me 80K.

I either only see $50 600+ treadwear bricks, or $150+ race rubber.

Anyone know of a successor or equivalent to the RE960AS?

I'm running Bridgestone Fuzions. Really nice tires that have very low rolling resistance. I'd give them a shot.

Are these them? Fuzion Touring

Wouldn't mind if they were only $200 for a set. But the reviews are pretty bad, no definitive information. My Potenzas are still quiet and grip even though they are on the last 10K miles.

Yup, those are them. They've been really nice for us so far.

Try Cooper CS5, they ranked well in a variety of tests. (I've done CS4 and CS3 on my civic and currently doing the CS5 on my 94 wagon, and so far no complaints) I think I paid 260 for the set of 4 last year.

There is no shortage of 195/60/15 rubber. Pages and pages on tire rack.

BFG advantage T/A's or Yokohama Avid Envigor's are probably as close as you'll get to the RE960AS.

The BFG g-force SS is a performance all season tire like the 960 was...but...they tend to wear in a quickly, and in a cupped pattern.
