Default blower motor resistor

I didn't see any threads about this and mine just went out so I figured I'd drop some info for you guys.

If you have issues with your blower motor occasionally not working or intermittently turning off the issue is your blower motor resistor. What it basically does is it controls the speed of your blower motor as it limits the amount of power running through it as you turn the ****. It's underneath the dash to the left of the blower motor. There is an under cover that just pops off. The blower motor resistor is only held in by two screws. I think over time the cabin filter gets dirty and it mildly prevents air from hitting the heatsink located on the inner side of the blower motor resistor so it's best to replace the cabin filter if it looks dirty too. Mine was dirty. When the blower motor goes out the blower motor will just stop working however if the issue is the blower motor resistor it will have intermittent problems.
