Location of Blower Motor Resistor?
Hey guys,
My a/c & heater no longer blows out air on my 2002 tl. I'm going to try and change out the blower motor resistor but don't know where it's located at. I will first try this then (through research) will see if the harness/ connection points are melted to see if I need a new one. Any other ideas. Thanks

I don't think so, but I will give it a try. I know no air comes out when the a/c or heater is on though. I thought maybe it would be the blower resistor since this is a common problem on TLs.

well you should be able to access the blower resistor underneath the glove box area. how ever there is a service bulletin 06-006 which states due to poor connection need to replace blower sub harness

yeah, the connector to the blower motor overheats and melts causing the blower motor to quit working....ive done sooooooo many at work. I replace the blower motor, transistor and replace the connector and both wires as well.

Is the Blower Motor Resistor the same as the Blower transistor? I have a 2004 Honda CRV and they replaced it once. The AC just blew hot air. Both fans have been replaced, the blower motor has been replaced and compressor tested fine. If the same, where is it located? Javier

Hi Guys
I am a new user
Figured I may well ask a dumb question.
Is the blower resister accessable without having to remover the blower motor?
It seems that I can access it under the glove box??
Mine (1 2002 Accord SE 4 Cyl) is working on speeds 3 and 4.
It is so friggin cold out that I don't want to lose that and have no heat!! :-)

Re: Location of Blower Motor Resistor?
2004 accord, seemingly having the same issue... i tested my blower motor, works just fine independently, but when in place, does not run on any setting. however, my air suddenly worked for about an hour or so, until i turned the car off. how do i test my blower resistor? havent had a/c for 6 months, living in florida it gets pretty bad. finally time to do something about it. im hoping this isnt a short, if so, itll be a b* to figure out... please help!!!
