Icon4 00 ej8 cell p1508

I have eliminated all of my codes on this vehicle except the p1508. I purchased on from another fellow Honda guy but it was old and figured if 25 gets it going why not. It still throws the code. the motor is a d16y8 running on p2p. I ran it for a while to get all the coolant flowed through the motor and ran the heater to flush the heater core. I am still only getting that code. incosistant idle with slight accel. not to mention if I go to higher rpm and press in clutch it will drop and die sometimes. this is extremely aggravating. any help is deeply appreciated. also like to add the one that came on the car looked brand new. also did a ecu swap and received same code.

How many wires does the IACV have - 2 or 3?

Auto or manual transmission?

Unplug the IACV.

Turn key to ON(II).

Measure voltage to body ground at the Yel/Blk wire pin in the connector.

What's the reading?

Pull the IACV, clean it, reinstall it, then re-bleed your coolant. Tell us exactly how you're bleeding your coolant.

P1508 indicates an electrical problem.

Post a picture of the IACV connector and its wires. You may have the wrong connector plugged into the IACV.

Your IACV connector should have Yel/Blk and Blk/Blu wires.

grn/black/silver?? No, each wire either has 2 color codes or a single color.

Post a picture. It's either for the radiator fan switch or the power steering pressure switch.
