Default Power window help

When I bought my 95 accord, the drivers side window was taped up. The rest of the windows work, even using the drivers side master switch. If I hit the front drivers switch, which I only touched once, just to see what would happen, I could hear the motor but that's it. It didn't move... either because something else is broken, or cuz its taped up.
My question is...

What is likely to be wrong with it and how do I know for sure. Obviously this means taking the door panel off.. but after I do that... how do I know whats broken?
Secondly.... My little sister has a 91 accord that just sits in our yard that she uses for parts after the tranny went out on it.. will the window parts from her 91 fit into my 95? That would be awwwweeeeesome if it did!

Probably a bad regulator, which is the contraption the motor you heard manipulates in order to move the window glass up and down.

Take the interior door panel off and carefully peel back the plastic vapor sheet so you can see the innards of the door. Then, support the door panel with something so you can hook up the plug for the window switch and operate the switch while seeing if anything moves.

You'll probably find that the regulator doesn't move. Meaning the window is taped up because the regulator is not there to hold it up. Without the tape, the glass would just slide back down into the door.
