Thanks bro. I will send pics later. I have a weird situation where I have a CEL code 8 for a tps. Is this in the distrubitor, or in the timing belt region? I never heard of this. I used to have a 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse v6 5 speed, and I never had such a sensor, so quite confused

TPS should be located in your throttle body area, it basically tells your ecu how much percent throttle you have open (0-100%) via sending it a ranged voltage (0-5 volts from memory). first thing to check would be the wiring for the sensor and then test it as seen in the video below
