Icon4 1994 Accord f22 non vtec to vtec

Hello I'm new here
I've been searching and searching and haven't found an exact answer for my issue

I have a 94 accord ex f22 vtec with auto trans that i totaled, trans nor the engine got damage

I bought a 94 accord lx f22 non vtec with manual trans, this car has a blown head gasket and some other engine problems

Im wanna swap the engine
what wiring has to be changed? i saw that everything is pretty much the same
i have everything from the donor EX to swap to the LX
but I'm having some issues cuz I've read that the LX aren't wired with the VTEC in the harness which means i have to pull the harness from the EX to the LX?
or can the same harness work? and all i have to do is wire the VTEC

As far as I can remember the Accords are all wired for VTEC from the ECU to the strut tower connection. After that you will need your EX engine and trans wiring harness. Even if the main harness from the ECU doesn't have the VTEC wires you can simply add them and be done with it. also don't forget the obvious, you will also need an EX 5spd ECU (P0A).

Why an Ex 5 speed? It wouldn't work with the auto one?

The auto ECU will throw codes if you use it on a manual trans. Other than that it should work.... with some slight idle issues.

P0A ECUs are a dime a dozen though! Or you might be able to find someone who can convert your auto ECU to a manual.

I meant to say manual VTEC (P0A) ECUs are a dime a dozen. aka P0A-A01.
