....and windows, doors and things like that. They charge like $30 at Acura dealers during tune up. I was told not to use WD40s but some silicon product.

Where specifically can I buy such silicones and its name?

Any good quality silicone spray say from gumout or 3m should be fine. After you do the whole car with it just a nice smooth coating then you go back with a clean rag and dry off the excess so its not to slimey so it runs off in the rain what a mess or gets on the glass it'll smears horrible. HTH

Haha...where can I get this stuff?

I've been using "Slick 50" silicone spray. The chit smells like WD40.

I get the spray, don't laugh- at "shoprite", auto section along with the Mobile1 oil too. Some of the cheapest prices around here.

Your shop-rite has an auto section...schweet

How thin is this stuff? I have in my garage: liquid wrench, Slick 50 Silicone spray, and WD40. They all smell the same to me which makes me wonder if they are the same with different labels.

-Tommy who'd rather have his car smell like bananas then WD40
