I recently puchased a sweet 98 accord 5 speed with 143,000 miles and I have been fixing every little thing to make it my own and it is bugging me because the cooling fan is hot wired to a 20 amp fuse that goes to the drivers door.....when I switch my car on the fan comes on and when I switch the car off....the fan does not go off until I open my drivers door. ...why would someone do this and

how can I fix it. It is not normal nor is it the right way for the fan to operate and I want it to run normally as it was engineered to work.
