Hasport mounts question
I've Hasport EFB2 mounts / EFB2?
Are these mounts ONLY for swapping B-engine in D-chassis or they can be used as a replacement in factory B-chassis/engine?
I have CRX EE8 which is EDM factory with B16A1 engine and want to know will these mounts will fit.
I'm using hydro box so no problem about that.

Your Civic will have the same chassis sheet metal braces as a Civic that originally came with a D engine. Therefore, the Hasport mounts will work.

That's just not right at all if that's what you are trying to say.
If that was the case, then people would use OEM mounts to do their swaps... and they can not.
I think kp is just saying that the EE8 crx has the same mounting points as the USDM crx... meaning essentially the same engine bay. I believe this to be true, but I cannot say for certain.
My thought is that swap mounts are made to place the B engine mount points just like it is in the factory EE8, but I'm not sure if I'm right.

If your EDM chassis came originally with a B16A in it, not a "D" series engine, then NO that set of HASport engine mounts will not work. I suggest you send Brian @ HASport an email and ask him what he suggests... my suspicion is there is not a replacement set for you. Let us know what you find out.

it's like his car already has the swap in it, just has oem mounts.
so you are saying that the chassis mounting points of a stock B-motor chassis is the same as chassis mounting points of a stock D-series?

It's as simple as this,
Under the hood, the B-Series chassis is not identical to a D-Series.
The swap mounts are not identical to the OEM B-series mounts.
When swapping a B into a D series chassis the OEM front mount can not be used at all.
So the swap mounts use less compliant material than standard rubber to reduce engine twist.
The OEM cross-member mount and the passenger side mount bolt in properly.
The OEM engine mount will not fit into the D-series chassis. The mount is physically wider and does not fit into the D-series bucket.

OK, so how about if I use only the transmission mount so can put a hydro box in and leave the others OEM mounts, should it work or not?
Cause there is no OEM mount for hydro box as there is no factory B16 with hydro box?

we do have a timing side mount and rear mount that will fit the b-series chassis
