Default Honda supreme engineering design

my carpets has been wet recently after the rain, so I tore into my car
I am missing something here? why the duck would u put a sunroof drain inside the car?

Not sure of the question/issue and the picture is too small for my old eyes.

The drain tube should be connected to a drain valve that lets the water flow outside the car.

I'm not sure how to make the picture bigger.
However, the drain tube just comes out a little higher than my electrical cluster by the fuze box.
There was nothing attached to it, and when I poured water into my drain channel, the water would pour out from the tube.
I've put a piece of nylon tube and extended it, but I was not aware there was supposed to be a drain valve.

Look around the area and you should find a "black tube" - that is the drain "valve" I was talking about.

This is for a 6th gen and on the pass side but Honda hasn't changed the design/concept in a long time......my 3rd gen(s) had the same design/concept.
