Boyfriend changed the plugs. Cables are in correct firing sequence, plugs gapped correctly. Turn the key, we hear clicking, but car doesn't start. Anything else it could be besides bad cables?

 

So you turn the key to "start" and hear a clicking noise? Meaning the starter will not spin the engine over......sounds like someone might have been listening to the radio as they were doing the work and drained the battery......first guess.

Please provide more details of exactly what is going on when you turn the key to start?
