Mileage: 177000 miles or 285000 km
Location: Southern Ontario, Canada (About 2~3 hours from New York)
Price: $4000 CDN (Around $2830 USD - honestly a steal IMO)
Contact: PM on here, or e-mail: em1fbp1999@hotmail.com

Hi,

Up for sale is my 1999 Civic SiR in Flamenco Black Pearl. Car is in pristine condition and maintenance is always up to date - I have a folder of service records since it was new. Regular oil changes - about 5000-7000 km with full synthetic oil only. Car was always parked indoor, shows no sign of rust really.

Being a Canadian model this car came equipped from the factory with ABS, daytime running lights, and heated mirrors. Car was NEVER modified - save for the exhaust tip, K&N air filter, and newer spark plug wires. Even the radio is original, and I have the radio code in case the battery is ever disconnected. No light (CEL,ABS,SRS) on the dash.

Included in the sale are the original documents including:
- A folder full of service records dated back to when it was new
- The Owner's manual
- Original Bill of sale from 1999
- 2 original Honda keys
- 1 original Honda valet key
- Original key tags back from 1999.

Car is currently sitting on Michelin X-Ice winter tires on steelies, but will come with original EM1 rims on all season tires with good tread.

Pictures:

Take advantage of the weak Canadian dollars right now and pick it up for a mere $4000 CDN or $2830 USD! Perfect daily driver here, with the peace of mind having the service always up to date. Thank you for your time, let me know if you have any questions!

Does anyone know the stages of switching this to a US title? I'll buy this right now!

I believe you just need a letter from Honda USA/Honda Canada stating that the car fully complies with the US law (which I think it is - it is pretty much the exact same car as US EM1's, and the cluster does have MPH on it). There are a few members around that have imported cars into the states, they can probably help as well.

Yeah, take advantage of the weak CDN right now. I really don't know if I wanna sell her to be honest...might just keep her around since she's been running perfectly fine.

Not a spot of rust, quarters are original and are rust free.
Car was garaged all its life.

Well in that case I might just have to buy it if it is still available in about a month.

Looks like a somewhat lengthy process to get the car into the US.

Killer price.

OP of this thread has brought a Canadian SiR into the states:

https://honda-tech.com/vehicles-sale...t-see-3264893/

You can pretty much buy it for $2830, import to the states and sell for $3500~4000 fairly easily...

I would certainly buy it for that price but you would have to work with me on importing docs and commit once I do.

To anyone wondering if the car can be imported to the US, the answer is yes. Quickly - No.

You must have:

You will need a recall clearance letter from Honda Canada stating that there are no outstanding recalls on the vehicle. Contact the Honda Canada Customer Relations Department on our toll-free line, at 1-888-946-6329 and request a "Recall Clearance Letter". Have your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) available when you call, as we must quote it in the letter we prepare for you. Recall Clearance Letters will only be provided for individuals who are exporting a Honda for their own personal use. Letters are not supplied for commercial exporters of used vehicles.

You will also need a compliance letter from American Honda to stipulate that your Canadian vehicle complies with the applicable U.S. safety and emissions requirements. You must contact American Honda at their toll-free number, 1-800-999-1009, and request a "Compliance Letter". Have your VIN ready as American Honda will require it in order to provide the letter.

Then on top of that you need to contact the port where the vehicle will be crossing the border.

You would need a valid passport to get back into the U.S. after buying it also.

It also seems like no one on either side of the border likes to answer questions about this... lol.

You can pay a broker at the border to take care of all the customs paperwork.
You'd still need the recall clearance letters.
Well that's what i found when i was trying to import a car from Canada.
It didn't seems like a difficult process if the seller is willing to work with the buyer on the process.
