Default Car smokes

I have a gsr. My valve seals were recently replaced. All new gaskets in the head and everything. Now my car smokes like crazy when I drive. It's like exhaust smoke coming out when you warm up your car in the morning. And doesn't smell like gas or oil just smells like exhaust. Only cel I have is both o2 sensors. Please help!!!!

The car never smoked like this before my head was taken off to change out valve seals.

When your o2s are broken, you are stuck in in open loop. If the smoke is white its possibly unburned fuel cause your running rich as hell. Start where you know the problem is and get new O2 sensors. Is it a lingering smoke that stays in the air like vapor?

It is also possible since you did replace the headgasket, your head is warped from removing the headbolts from the wrong removal process and your burning coolant. Or your head was already warped. Did you re-use the head bolts, that's a big no no especially if the HG blew prior. Or you did not install the valve seals properly. Also u don't need to take the head off to do valve seals if u have the right valve spring compressor.

Is it a ls, Gsr or b20? Sorry for throwing so much at u but there are no details.

So why did you replace valve seal if it didn't smoke if you don't mind me asking?

Could be valve installed wrong and not pushed all the way down or you could of mixed up the intake and exhaust seals cause they are color coded for intake and exhaust.

Also did you have a o2 code before you did your seals?

Running rich as hell is black smoke and white with tint of blue smoke is oil burning and white smoke with sweet smell is coolant burning and white smoke could be condensation

Possibly your pcv, vacuum hoses hooked up wrong, or someone did something stupid with the valves. I'd triple check all your vac hoses, make sure they are in the right place. Other than that, maybe you just need new o2 sensors? Is it cold outside?
