Hello, H-T! My boy has a 2001 CR-V and it threw a code "P0343" for Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit High Input (Bank 1 or Single Sensor).

But it doesn't seem to have a camshaft position sensor from what I can see. Any help on this code?

 

Its in the distributor.

 

So to fix this code, he will need a new distributor? Or can this sensor be disassembled and replaced inside it?

 

I don't believe Honda ever sold the sensors separate from the distributor housing.
