Hey everyone, I jus purchased a 94 civic hatch cx with the shitty but nice mpg, d15b8. I'm planning on swapping the motor from fwd to awd. I'm thinking about using the 06 rsx motor & harness as for the awd, I was wondering which would be better from the newer crv? I never done a fwd swap to awd so any help is appreciated. Thanks guys/gals.

 

I am doing the same thing but with a b series engine. You will definitely need the transmission from a crv as well as the transfer case. Ive read some things about the crv rear diff not being true awd and i ve also read that the rear diff from a honda civic wagon were beefier as well as there axles. So the last question is what driveshaft to use. I havent personally seen a drive shaft never than an 01 so im not sure what they look like now but the older ones are a little skinny and probably wont hold up to much abuse. just my 2 cents
