Rod bearing opinion (picture inside)
Hi, I was changing my oil ( I change it every 1.5K ) when I noted some flakes on the bottom of the tray. I was using the car moments before no nocking no noise. The crank shaft is intact.

had something go through your oil system. the biggest question is what do the bearings look like that are the top bearings thats where most your wear or inductions are to me made.
Ls Vtec, Piston rod combo, Turbo.
Stock block
JE 9.0:1 pistons
Eagle rods
OEM GSR oil and water pump.
King high Performance CR439xp bearings ( STD )
About 3-4 years not daily.

At that age I would probably have the block cleaned and fresh hone / bearings since you dont really know if there is more debris in the engine somewhere.
