Icon4 2 pages, 2 torques specs

This is nuts, on the 1st pages is shows 47 ft.Lbs.
On the 2nd page it shows 29 ft.Lbs.

Which is correct?

..the very next page in my original '90 Service Manual.

How do they expect anybody to get anything done this way?

I think 47 is what the dc tegs call for id use that. put copious amount of grease or antiseize on those bolts the tend to seize bad in the bushings

Yeah, I went to 47, but I didn't think of the anti-seize.

You can't get to the one on the end of the trailing arm, so I'd have to take the whole thing off again.

Any other way of getting anti-seize or grease in there?
I 'spose it's needed in all the body mount bolts....

At least I've only done one side so far.

I put copaslip or aluminum based antisieze on the bolt shaft before inserting it into and through the bushing.

The only store out here is a napa...probably can only get a lock-tite product, or something similar.

im sure they have permatex brands they make an antiseize that will work. at least on that bolt put some on the exposed threads so no water can follow them back into the nut and then the bushing...

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I've never done much suspension work, where I needed anti-seize. I got the permatex with aluminum.

So basically put it everywhere in the bushing and all the treads too.

I decided to take it all apart to get at the bolt going from the compensator to the trailing arm, just did. I'm not doing every bushing (most look ok) everywhere, so I'll need to get it back apart again, in a year or so....and I'll be moving the car to a more humid climate at the end of the year.

...did the trailing arm bushings.
