Default D16z6 Turbo Block

I'm planning on getting a 93 civic coupe this weekend for 500 (project car of course)
It has the stock engine and tranny in it and a friend of mine said he would sell me his D16z6 with a ported head and the rest is stock. If the tranny is bad I will either rebuild or get the one he has.
I've been looking around and haven't found any good build guides that use my setup I'm looking at. I'm only looking to make around 200-300whp on e85. With a turbonetics super 60 t3 turbo.
The internals I'm looking at are
Vitara piston heads
Eagle H beam rods
Rod bearings (not sure what brand to get?)
Head studs
And gaskets
I've heard the crank and sleeves should be good around this much power. I'm not looking to build the head or the rest of the engine just yet. I'm only looking for the block build. So if there's anything I'm leaving out I would like to know. And possibly where I could get the cheapest parts at a reliable source.
Thanks for your time

Forget about Vitara. Forget about low compression. The only people who build low compression anymore either don't know any better, or are too broke to be building a turbo car in the first place.

If you're going to build it, avoid Vitaras. IIRC, they'll put your CR around 8:1 which makes for AWFUL off-boost response/ power.

Yes, the crank and sleeves are fine for your goals. The rods are really the issue - beyond 220whp, they start to bend/ break.

He's probably reading some really old builds, all good and it shows that he's searching.

OP yes in todays method of boosting there is no need to lower your compression, that milestone has been overcome.

I'm not trying to blow too much money on this but I also don't plan on having it done anytime soon. So for the piston heads, what brand should I go with to achieve my goal? Also, what size, bore, etc. would I need to get?

9.5:1 pistons and eagle rods would be my choice for a daily on pump.

Do you have access to 93, or only 91? Do you have enough access to gas station E85 that you would consider that an option? Supertech, Wiseco, CP, and Arias are all good companies to get your pistons from. You should match bore to your block. If you only have 91, then 9.5:1 would be good. If you have access to 93, 10.5:1 would be better. If you have pump E85, you can start looking even higher, but you need to talk to your tuner to see what they're comfortable with. The TL;DR version of compression is that higher compression means more power out of boost (accelerating from a stop, accelerating out of turns, accelerating from cruising speed...you get the point), and also means better gas mileage, and better driveability.
