EJ1 pulls left when let off gas
I have a 1995 EJ1. While driving the car will jerk left or pull left when I let my foot off the gas. It is most noticeable in lower gears, however, you can feel it in every gear. I have read that this could be caused by a bad motor mount by I have recently installed Innovative Motor Mounts. I have also replaced the front upper control arms as they appeared worn. My only other idea is that the Innovative Mounts are too stiff and causing almost a torque steer issue on deceleration. Anyone else have this problem?
Either your alignment is off, or one or more suspension components has failed. Take it to a shop, have them do an alignment. If something is failed, they won't be able to do it, and they'll tell you. Two birds, one stone.
Ya it could be the alignment but it drives straight while cruising. Tie rods are new as is the upper control arms. I will check the lower control arm bushings and the alignment.
